The earliest version of Cal’s R&C requirement appeared in 1919. Over a century later, the requirement remains substantially the same.
In a new landscape shaped by AI, can we reimagine R&C? This symposium invites campus members to explore this possibility together.
Panel members will explore R&C through a Discovery lens and feature a case study approach involving student projects. Our goal is an open-ended conversation among participants and audience members.
Anyone interested in the future of R&C is welcome to attend.
