Nathan Atkinson teaches in the Department of Rhetoric. In addition, he is the Coordinator for the department’s program in Reading and Composition, and for the Tutoring Program in Art of Writing. Dr. Atkinson teaches the Art of Writing transfer seminar, held online during the summer and in person during the academic year. This seminar is designed to help transfer students succeed in discipline-specific research and writing at UC Berkeley. Dr. Atkinson holds a PhD from Carnegie Mellon University.
