Students will learn to express themselves in a variety of formats, including systematic natural history observations in field journals, oral presentations, scientific reports, popular science writing, and advocacy pieces. The class will include experiential and inquiry-based learning. Students will go on field trips where they will record observations, develop a question, conduct research and communicate what they learn to their peers in oral and written form.
